Switching Your Energy to a Higher VibrationYou know that feeling when the day starts fine β and then slowly, without anything obviously going wrong, your mood just... drops?
Maybe it was a tense conversation. Maybe it was scrolling through the news. Maybe it was lunch that left you sluggish instead of energized.
By evening, you feel heavier than you did at sunrise, and you're not entirely sure what happened.
If this sounds familiar, you're not imagining things.

A Shift in the Amazon
I used to think days like that were just "off days." Something in the air. Bad luck. But after years of studying energy β and especially after my time in the Amazon learning from indigenous shamans β I started to see it differently.
Everything is energy. The people we interact with, the information we consume, the food we put in our bodies β it all carries a frequency. And that frequency either lifts us up or pulls us down.
Once I understood this, I stopped feeling like a victim of my moods. I started making different choices. Small ones, mostly. But they changed everything.

Your Version Might Look Different
Maybe for you it's not a slow fade through the day. Maybe it hits all at once β you walk into a room and immediately feel off. Or you hang up the phone and realize you're carrying someone else's stress.
Maybe you've started avoiding certain places or people because something about them just drains you, even if you can't explain why.
Or maybe you've noticed that what you eat, watch, or scroll through affects you more than it seems to affect others.
However it shows up for you, the truth is the same: you're responding to energy. And once you see it, you can start working with it instead of against it.

The Three Places Energy Sneaks In
π The people around you.
Think about the last few conversations you had. Did you walk away feeling inspired, lighter, more hopeful? Or did you feel drained, irritated, pulled into someone else's storm?
You might be someone who feels what others feel without realizing it. You pick up on tension in a room before anyone says a word. You absorb a friend's worry and carry it home with you.
If this sounds like you, start paying attention. Notice who lifts your energy and who depletes it. You don't have to cut people out β but you can choose how much access they have to your inner world.
When a conversation starts pulling you down, see if you can gently shift it. Redirect toward ideas, dreams, something that feels more expansive. You'd be surprised how often the other person welcomes the change too.
πΏ πΏ πΏ
π What you consume.
Not just food β though we'll get to that β but information.
Do you start your morning with the news? End your night with something violent or stressful on TV? I'm not saying you should never be informed. But notice how these habits affect you. When I stopped watching the news during high-stress seasons of my life, I felt the shift within days. Lighter. Less anxious. More present.
If you've ever thought, "I don't know why I feel so on edge," take a look at what you've been consuming. Your mind absorbs it all β and your energy reflects it.
πΏ πΏ πΏ
π What you eat.
This one might seem obvious, but it goes deeper than nutrition.
Processed foods β the chips, the candy, the boxed meals full of ingredients you can't pronounce β carry a lower vibration. They've been so far removed from their natural state that there's very little life force left in them. And when you eat them, your body feels it.
Whole foods, on the other hand, carry the energy of the earth, the sun, the rain. When you eat something that was recently alive and growing, you're taking in that vitality.Notice how you feel after different meals. Heavy or light? Foggy or clear? Let your body teach you what it needs.

Small Shifts That Raise Your Vibration
You don't have to overhaul your life to feel different. Sometimes the smallest changes create the biggest ripple.
π Try conscious eating.
From the moment you gather your ingredients to the moment you sit down to eat, stay present. Thank the food. Appreciate the hands that grew it, harvested it, brought it to you.
When you eat with intention and gratitude, the food nourishes you differently. I know it sounds simple β maybe even too simple β but in our busy, rushed lives, we've forgotten how sacred a meal can be.
πΏ πΏ πΏ
π Bring in laughter.
Watch something that makes you laugh. Try laughter yoga (yes, it's real β look it up on YouTube). Call the friend who always makes you giggle. Laughter shakes loose the heavy energy we hold in our bodies. It's an instant reset.
πΏ πΏ πΏ
π Move your body.
Walk. Dance. Shake. Stretch. When energy gets stuck, movement helps it flow again. I've had days where I felt completely trapped in a low mood β and a 20-minute walk changed everything.
πΏ πΏ πΏ
π Change one small thing.
Take a different route to work. Rearrange a corner of your room. Break a tiny routine. Energy loves movement and novelty. Sometimes shaking things up on the outside helps shift things on the inside.

Notice What's Pulling You Down
Start paying attention to the moments your energy dips.
Is it the jarring alarm clock that startles you awake? A particular person who leaves you feeling empty? A thought pattern that spirals you into worry or self-doubt?
You can't change what you don't notice. But once you see the patterns, you can start making different choices. And here's the important part: don't judge yourself for what you find. Just notice. Be curious. Ask, "What would feel better here?"

Change One ThoughtHere's something I want you to try.Pick one belief about yourself or your life that feels heavy. Something you've told yourself so many times it feels like fact.
Now imagine a different version. What would it look like if that belief weren't true? What would it feel like? Sound like?Hold that new thought for at least 17 seconds.
Let it land in your body. This isn't about pretending or forcing positivity. It's about loosening the grip of old stories so new possibilities can come through. When we change our thoughts, we change our energy. When we change our energy, we change what's possible.

A Soft Reflection
"If you wish to understand the universe, think of energy, frequency, and vibration." β Nikola TeslaYou are not at the mercy of your moods, your circumstances, or the energy of the people around you. You have more power than you realize β and it starts with small, conscious choices. What's one thing you'll try today?
